Football Season Schedule
All dates and times are tentative and possible to change each year as our teams are subject to scheduling by our governing leagues: Cobb Football League (elementary school teams) and GMSAA (middle school teams)!
Tentative Football Team Schedule for Fall 2025

Summer Practices - ALL Teams
Who: 1st-8th graders
What: Conditioning with helmet and pad acclimation periods
When: July 14 - 18 (Acclimation), July 21 - August 1st (full pads)
Days: 3-4 nights a week depending on team/coach
Time: 6-8pm
Where: JCHS
Fall Practices - ALL Teams
Who: 1st-8th graders
What: Full pads and helmet practices
When: August 4 - October 31st
Days: 3 nights a week, nights depend on grade level assignments
Time: 6-8pm
Where: JCHS
Playoff Practices - ALL
Who: 6th-8th graders
What: Full pads and helmet practices until the team’s playoff run is over
When: November 3rd - November 21st
Days: 3 nights a week, nights depend on grade level assignments
Time: 6-8pm
Where: JCHS
Jamboree - Elementary School Teams
Who: 1st - 5th graders
What: Two abbreviated practice games against other schools
When: August TBD Saturday
Time: TBD
Where: Pope High School
Jamboree - Middle School Teams
Who: 6th-8th graders
What: Two abbreviated practice games against other schools
When: August TBD Saturday
Time: TBD
Where: Centennial High School
Regular Season Games - Elementary School Teams
Who: 1st-5th graders
What: 8 regular season games
When: Saturdays (August 23-October 25)
Holidays: No Game on August 30th, possible games on Oct 12th of Fall Break)
Time: Could be any time from 9am-6pm depending on opponent and field space
Where: JCHS AND Atlanta area high schools (including Cobb County)
Regular Season Games - Middle School Teams
Who: 6th-8th graders
What: 8 regular season games
When: Saturdays (August 23-October 25)
Holidays: Game on August 30th(Labor Day Saturday), possible games on Oct 12th or Oct 18th)
Time: 6th - 9am, 7th - 11am, 8th - 1pm (times could change depending on opponent)
Where: JCHS AND Atlanta area high schools
Playoff Games - ALL teams
Who: 1st-8th graders
What: Playoff Games (single-elimination)
When: Saturdays (November 8th - 29th)
Time: TBD based on field space and opponent
Where: JCHS AND Atlanta area high schools
All Star Games - ALL teams
Who: 1st-8th grade players selected by the team coaches
What: All Star Game (two teams play made up of players from around the league selected for All Stars)
When: Elementary - Saturday, November 22nd; Middle - Saturday, December TBD
Time: TBD
