   Scrimmage 8/13/11 - Be at the field by 9:00 a.m. for warm up.

Hello Gladiators!

Just wanted to be sure everyone knows we have a scrimmage Saturday vs. Centennial.  Show up time is 9 AM on the upper field.  Game time 10:15 AM on the main field.  Parking is available.

Next week on Saturday 8-20-11 we again host a scrimmage Vs. Allatoona.  Show up time is 11:30 AM on the upper field.  Game time 1 PM on the main field.

Next week Fulton County Schools open.  We will have the varsity in front of us, so we may be delayed starting until 6:45, but lets still get there by 6:30 in case they give us some room to warm up.  We will keep the practices to 2 hours regardless of start time.

We will still go M,T,W,TH until further notice.  We are likely to deal with weather issues so keep all nights open.  Remember if you are picking up that we may end practice early, due to lightning, so be sure to have an early pick up plan in those cases.

Note…kickers, punters, centers, receivers & QB’s and anyone wanting extra coaching should get to practices nightly by 6:15 PM for skills coaching/tutoring.  This is voluntary.

Lastly, for those attending Autry Mill, there is a school trip planned Sept 7-9 with sign ups happening now (http://www.fultonschools.org/school/autreymill/ ).   This trip is voluntary I understand, and will conflict with practice time that week for those attending. Please let me know if you are planning to have your player attend this trip so we can prepare properly for Northview.

Please note that GMSAA League rules state that the only people allowed on the field during game time are the certified coaches. All other assigned volunteers need to be on the track, or behind the players box at all times (obvious exception for the hydration team when needed).
Cindy Disher will be filming all of the games again this season  and she is happy to make copies of the game film for the families on the team.
All proceeds from the DVDs go towards the players. You can either donate $5.00 per DVD, or, donate $25.00 for the entire season. Of course, this is not mandatory, rather, just an offer for those families who would like to view and own copies of the game film.
If you would like the season of DVDs, please let Cindy know so that she can have your copies available the Monday following game day.
Checks can be made payable to Cindy Disher and will be kept in a safe place until the funds are used on the players.
